For fans of chiles, hot sauce, and all things spicy, a spicy margarita is the ultimate treat. Enjoy your ideal spicy margarita alongside a generous bowl of salty chips and creamy guacamole, and you’ll be in cocktail hour bliss!

Spicy Margarita Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila (preferably blanco)
  • 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • ½ oz agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Jalapeño slices (to taste)
  • Salt (for rimming the glass)
  • Lime wedge (for garnish)
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass:
  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it in salt to coat.

2. Muddle the Jalapeños:

    • In a shaker, add a few slices of jalapeño (adjust based on your spice preference). Muddle them gently to release the flavors.

    3. Combine Ingredients:

      • Add tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup to the shaker.

      4. Shake:

        • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

        5. Strain and Serve:

          • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

          6. Garnish:
