Jane Austen Wrecked My Life is a 2024 French romantic comedy film written and directed by Laura Piani. The story follows Agathe, a clumsy yet charming bookseller at Shakespeare & Co. in Paris, who dreams of experiencing love akin to a Jane Austen novel and aspires to become a writer. When her best friend secretly submits her manuscript to the Jane Austen Writers’ Residency in England, Agathe goes on a journey that challenges her insecurities and leads her into a romantic triangle.
