The Kingdom is a 2025 French crime drama directed by Julien Colonna. Set on the sun-drenched island of Corsica during the summer of 1995, the story follows teenage Lesia, who is pulled from her sheltered life and brought to a remote villa where her estranged, fugitive mob boss father, Pierre-Paul, is hiding out. Although Pierre-Paul is a menacing, near-stranger to Lesia, an assassination attempt forces them to go on the run together. As father and daughter deal with the dangerous Corsican underworld, Lesia grows closer to Pierre-Paul and the path of revenge that defines him.
