Set during World War II, Prisoner of War follows British RAF Wing Commander James Wright, who is captured by Japanese forces after the Battle of Bataan. Imprisoned in a brutal POW camp in the Philippines, he is forced into hand-to-hand combat matches for the amusement of his captors. Using his martial arts training, Wright inspires resistance among fellow prisoners and plots a daring escape.
