About the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is one of the world’s most prestigious and widely attended film festivals. Established in 1976, TIFF takes place annually in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is recognized as one of the most important cultural events celebrating new cinema from around the world.

The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival presented by Rogers will run from September 10–20, 2026, bringing together film lovers, filmmakers, industry professionals, and media for eleven days of screenings, premieres, and industry events.


About TIFF

TIFF showcases a diverse selection of films from around the globe, including feature films, documentaries, shorts, and series. Known for its bold programming and strong audience engagement, the festival highlights both established auteurs and emerging talent.
