Netflix’s hit show The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On returned with its third season, delivering unexpected surprises and dramatic turns over its 10-episode run.
Curious to know which couples are still going strong? Here’s the scoop on the pairs who stayed together, those who split, and everything revealed during the explosive reunion.
This season, we were introduced to six new couples at a pivotal moment in their relationships, deciding between marriage and parting ways.
Each pair separated temporarily, engaging in trial marriages to explore their connection with new partners.
By the end, participants had to choose whether to stay with their original partner, pursue someone new, or walk away solo.
Out of the six couples—Scotty and Aria, Dave and Vanessa, Caleb and Mariah, Micah and Chanel, Nick and Sandy, and Zaina and J.R.—four completed the process, and the reunion revealed where everyone stands now.
Who Got Engaged in Season 3?
Caleb and Mariah
Caleb popped the question to Mariah during the finale, and she said yes. “I can’t believe that we’re engaged, but we’re engaged! It’s finally happened and I am so happy…This is what happiness, true happiness feels like pure joy.” Mariah gushed after the proposal.
The couple confirmed at the reunion that they’re still engaged and plan to marry in summer 2026.
Reflecting on the adventures they have been on since the show ended, Caleb shared that they did a road trip up the West Coast, making multiple stops.
Maria shared that they have seen all of their families and just wanted to spread the good news of their engagement.
We got to see a really cute video of their adventures at the reunion.
Dave and Vanessa
Status: Engaged
Dave and Vanessa left the experiment early, but their relationship has thrived.
The pair announced their engagement, moved in together, and feel closer than ever.
They credit frequent, honest conversations during the experiment for helping them align their future goals.
Vanessa mentioned that her trial partner exhibited concerning behaviors, solidifying her decision to leave the show.
The couple emphasized that stepping away was the right decision for their happiness.
Couples Still Together but Not Engaged
Micah and Chanel
Status: Together
Micah and Chanel left the show early after secretly meeting off-camera and deciding to pursue their relationship privately.
Though they skipped the reunion, social media updates suggest the couple remains happily together.
Who Called It Quits?
Scotty and Aria
Status: Broken Up
Despite getting engaged during the finale, Scotty and Aria ended their engagement the next day.
They attempted couples’ therapy but ultimately decided to part ways.
Aria expressed admiration for Scotty but admitted their relationship wasn’t helping either of them grow. “We started to go back into our old ways…you don’t love me the way I want to be loved,” she said.
Scotty shared that Aria definitely broke his heart and he never wanted to experience this type of heartbreak again.
However, he remains hopeful that they could get back together. “It’s sort of demoralizing to go and try to give someone everything they want and still what you’re giving isn’t good enough”, Scotty shared at the reunion.
Nick and Sandy
Status: Broken Up
Nick and Sandy ended their relationship before the finale.
Sandy and Nick had one of the weirdest proposals I have seen on the show till date.
Sandy stopped Nick in the middle of his proposal, asking “what are you doing? It was very awkward!
She explained that they had unresolved issues to address first and anyone watching the show would probably agree with her.
At the reunion, both confirmed their split, with Nick.
Nick is currently dating someone new, while Sandy is optimistic about finding the right partner in the future.
Zaina and J.R.
Status: Broken Up
Zaina and J.R. also parted ways after the show. At the reunion, they revealed differing perspectives on what caused their final breakup.
Zaina claimed J.R. had distanced himself, leaving her feeling unsupported.
J.R., however, stated he was still processing their relationship and wasn’t ready to provide closure.
Their reunion discussion turned tense.
