As I stood beneath the arch, I couldn’t help but admire the sculptures adorning it. Truly a sight to behold and deserving of a closer inspection!

My tour guide informed me that it symbolizes trade and business, along with farming and artistic endeavors.

  • The ideal times for taking photos are in the morning or late afternoon when the light is milder, making it easier to photograph the arch without dealing with many people around.
  • It’s a good idea to take a walk along the path of Lluís Companys Promenade. This promenade has a lot trees to provide shade and benches for resting.

  • The arch is located near Parc de la Ciutadella which features fountains and gardens around a lake.
  • Don’t forget to check out the street performers, like musicians and artists who usually hang around the archway. It’s actually very entertaining to watch.

Attractions in the vicinity

  • Ciutadella Park is a stroll away. It is actually on the opposite end of the arch. The park is a favorite spot for chilling out or enjoying activities like boating on the lake, picnics, and exploring the Barcelona Zoo.
