Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania takes Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with their family, on an adventure into the Quantum Realm. This is the first time we see Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)

Main Plot & Characters

In terms of how Marvel switches up timelines, the events in this movie take place after the Endgame. Scott Lang is enjoying life with his daughter Cassie. However, Cassie’s scientific curiosity leads her to experiment with Quantum technology. She accidentally sends Scott, Hope, Cassie, Hank Pym, and Janet into the Quantum Realm.

There, they meet Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Kang is formidable! His plans are dangerous and could have catastrophic consequences beyond the Quantum Realm.

Most of the film takes place in the Quantum Realm.

  • Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang. Previously, we had Abby Ryder Fortson in this role. But remember Cassie was a child but when Scott returned after the Endgame, she was all grown up.
  • The film introduces MODOK (Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing), a fan-favorite comic character.
