The film follows Violet, a widowed mother who, during her first date in years with a man named Henry, begins receiving anonymous and threatening messages via AirDrop. These messages escalate, instructing her to follow specific orders to ensure the safety of her son and sister. As the date continues, Violet is told that she must kill her date otherwise, the man who has broken into her home will harm her son and sister and she is sent multiple videos and text messages showing that they will be in danger.
