HIM is an upcoming American sports horror film directed by Justin Tipping and co-written with Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie. The film is produced by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and distributed by Universal Pictures.
The story follows Cameron Cade (played by Tyriq Withers), a rising-star quarterback whose entire identity is tied to football. On the eve of professional football’s annual scouting Combine, Cam is violently attacked by a deranged fan and suffers a traumatic brain injury that could end his career. Seeking to reclaim his future, he accepts an offer from legendary quarterback Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans) to train with him. Isiah is an eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural icon.
Isaiah invites Cam to train at his secluded compound, which he shares with his influencer wife Elsie White (Julia Fox). But what begins as a dream opportunity spirals into a nightmarish descent.
