A fractured father-daughter relationship is brought into sharp focus when renowned film director Gustav Borg returns to Oslo after the death of his wife, hoping to reconcile with his estranged daughters Nora and Agnes. When Gustav attempts a creative comeback by casting Nora in his latest film, only to have her refuse and turn to Hollywood star Rachel instead, the family’s buried resentments and the overlap of art and life come crashing into their real relationships.
