Forty-one years after the original This Is Spinal Tap, the estranged members of the fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap — David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel, and Derek Smalls — reunite for one final concert. Marty DiBergi, the documentarian, returns to capture their journey, as they wrestle with legacy, mortality, and the hope that their 12th drummer doesn’t join them in the Great Beyond.
