About the Movie:
The Avengers is a movie about how a group of superheroes actually comes together in a bid to defeat a god named Loki. Loki just so happens to be Thor’s brother. What Loki does is to bring an alien army to earth in order to give him the opportunity to take over the earth.
Main Plot & Characters
After Loki steals an energy source known as the Tesseract, S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury assembles a team. The Tessaract would later make its appearance in a couple more Marvel films.
The team includes Tony, Steve, Thor (yes! Loki’s brother), Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, and Hawkeye. Together, they become the Avengers.
Setting & Filming Locations
The film is set primarily in New York City.
