Based on real events, The Lost Bus follows school bus driver Kevin McKay and teacher Mary Ludwig as they lead 22 children to safety during the deadly 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California. As the wildfire rages, they find ways to work around blocked roads, smoke-filled skies, and collapsing infrastructure, improvising survival strategies and forming bonds under extreme pressure.
