Instructions
Prepare the Ribs:
If your ribs have a silver skin (membrane) on the underside, carefully remove it.
Rinse the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
Make the Marinade:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, cayenne pepper, dash seasoning, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and lemon juice (if using).
Stir well to create a flavorful marinade.
Marinate the Ribs:
Rub the marinade all over the ribs, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
Place the ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or cover them in a shallow dish.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors penetrate the meat.
Cook the Ribs: Option 1: Oven
Preheat the oven
to 300°F (150°C).
Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Cover the ribs with another piece of foil to keep them moist while cooking.
Bake for 2–2½ hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the ribs to brown and caramelize.
Option 2: Grill
Serve:
Once cooked, let the ribs rest for a few minutes.
Slice between the bones and serve hot, with your favorite side dishes like coleslaw, grilled vegetables, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
Note the baking time sometimes depends on the type of ribs, weight, and quality of your cut.
